Performance and Direction

Young Spoonman spent long time fishing around for something worthwhile to do. One day he wandered into a theater on Wells Street in Chicago. There were a bunch of good actors doing very funny improvisations on William Burroughs' Naked Lunch - Spoonman stuck around.

Though years of straight and semi-straight theater followed, it was always physical acting, puppetry, voicework, vaudeville, word jazz, circus and out there operatic forms that captured fruitcake imagination.
